CheeCha, CheeCha, CheeCha!

A couple months ago the wonderful people over at CheeCha sent me a box filled of their delicious potato puff snacks, in an array of yummy flavours. It was SO nice of them to send me it, my tummy has been very happy! Also in the box were some post it notes (perfect for studying), a pen with a highlighter on the tip (so cool), and a great alternative to a plastic water bottle.
I really like CheeCha Puffs, they sort of taste like potato chips, but a lot more lighter and not oily at all, as they are air puffed. I kind of think of these little guys as a cross between chips and popcorn, as they taste like chips, but they’re popped like corn. The best thing about this snack is that they’re gluten free, dairy free, nut free, cholesterol free, MSG free and non GMO! How great is that!?

There are 5 flavours: Luscious Lime, Mediterranean Ginger, Original, Sea Salt and Spiced Pepper, and Sea Salt and Vinegar.

The Lusicious Lime was not included in the package from them, but I found it at one of my local grocery stores and picked up that flavour.

Mediterranean Ginger: Tastes a bit like the Lusiciuos Lime, but with lemon instead, not a very strong flavour though – I couldn’t really taste the ginger. There wasn’t a huge hint of lemon, the flavour was very close to the Original. Rating = 7/10

Original: Tastes like plain potato chips, without the grease. I feel like these would be good dipped in hummus or chip dip, yum! Rating = 7.5/10

Sea Salt and Spiced Pepper: Have you ever had Lay’s Salt and Pepper chips? They taste a lot like those, again without the grease, and 1/3 less the calories and 1/6 less the fat. I enjoyed the initial taste, but I wasn’t a fan of the after taste – I had the taste of onion and garlic left in my mouth…yuk. Rating = 6/10

Sea Salt and Vinegar: Tastes exactly like salt and vinegar chips, smelled like them too. I really liked this flavour! Rating = 10/10!

Luscious Lime: My favourite flavour. They were sweet and tangy at the same time. They made you pucker a little bit, but they also had a sweet falvour, probably from the evaporated cane sugar. These reminded me a bit of Tostitos Hint of Lime 🙂 Rating = 10/10!

Thanks again CheeCha!!!

Well, I am officially done for the summer! I had my last exam last night, and it feels so great to just sit down with a cup of tea and blog without the nagging feeling of having to study, study, study! Have a wonderful weekend!

And thanks for your comment on my blog. I really appreciate your supportive words and I'm happy you could relate. And you are so right- we should all recognize our own beauty no matter what. Have a good weekend!

  2. I tried the ginger flavor of these and promptly threw out the entire bag. I thought they were hideous. Funny how tastes differ, eh?
